How To Make Money From Home Without A Computer

This should be interesting when you look at this from any angle (at least in my eyes) the directions are endless.

Learning how to make money from home without a computer isn’t a science, there’s no “program” or “course” out there, it’s just you using your skills or assets to make something work.

So I’ll try my best and give you (IMO) some of the best ideas for making money at home without a pesky computer, or internet connection for that matter.

(I simply can’t list off EVERY possible opportunity out there, so if anything maybe something on here might be the inspiration you needed to get that idea going.)

Getting Creative

Nothing’s better than using skills you already have to do something for you, you’re most likely passionate about it since you’re good at it, and since you don’t have to learn it, it’s just that much better!

Before we get into it, try and list off all skills you have from natural to learned it can be anything, for example:

  • Drawing
  • Carving
  • Carpentry
  • Typing
  • Dancing
  • Singing
  • Playing an instrument
  • Working out
  • Nutrition
  • etc…

Then you’re going to want to evaluate how much time you can put into this potential side hustle and then you can evaluate from there.

So here’s some creative side hustle ideas:

Start A Wedding Decorations Business

This can be anything from wine bottle labels, to table cloths, flowers, banners, backdrops, if you’re the creative type or just love weddings this could be a great idea.

Make Some Wooden Ice Chests

If you’re a semi-skilled carpenter, this shouldn’t be all that difficult.

You can make chests with team names on them to make them original and sell them locally.

(just a little tip, make sure the teams you are making them for are in demand in your area, the last thing you want is to have a whole bunch of chests for teams everyone in your town hates.)

Write Papers Or Proofread

This is something great if you’re a student or live in a college town, especially better if you have an English background or are a fluent writer.

Nobody likes typing, even now I wish I could just throw my words on the screen, but it has to be done.

Well, some people would much rather pay for it then do it themselves.

Set up flyers in your local town (especially if you’re in a college town, during mid-terms or at the end of the semester, essays are going out left and right during that time.) and just list a price per word or hourly rate with some contact info. and see what that brings you.

Teach Music Lessons

If you’re talented on an instrument this should be a no-brainer, why not use your learned skill and teach it to someone else?

People are always trying to learn to play a new instrument,  guitar, piano, violin, etc. why not help them out?

You can set up shop right out of your house and charge per session or hour.

Create Workout/Nutrition Plans

This is something for all you fitness buffs, if you’re a regular in the gym and constantly have people complimenting you on your physique or asking what you do, you have a great opportunity here!

Gaining the knowledge and experience it takes to achieve a great looking physique takes years of constant study and work that most people don’t have the patience or time for, being where you could come in.

Take this knowledge and skill you have and turn it into an asset.

You can host classes at your house, in your backyard, garage, whatever, if you know what you’re talking about and have the results to prove it people will take notice.

You can even take it a step further and offer custom nutrition plans for your clients for an added bonus or sell the individually for some extra cash.

Teach Swimming Lessons

Of course having a pool in the backyard would be a must and will need an approved certificate validating your ability to teach, but this can be a great little side hustle if you’re up for it.

You can charge per session or hour and even teach classes from beginner to advanced depending on your skill set or ability.

Give Language Classes

Fluent in a different language? Maybe you can hold some classes in your home teaching people how to speak a different language or the language you already speak.

Learning a new language is hard and since you have the unique perspective of understanding how it feels to learn a new language this is something people can relate to.

Might not seem like the most fun thing in the world to do, but it’s an honest and noble way of turning a learned skill into an asset.

Offer Alterations

If you’re skilled with a sewing machine maybe you can offer alteration services?

You can alter suits, dresses, or even clothing for people who have lost weight.

Sometimes simply having an outfit altered rather than getting a new one can be a lot less cost effective and practical for most people.

Little Tip: Try putting your flyers up for your service around places like gyms or fitness studios, where people have lost weight. They’ll probably be glad to have some old clothes made wearable again to show off their new hard earned bodies.

If you have some skill in the kitchen maybe you can try baking cupcakes, cookies, cakes, whatever you’re good at.

You can start taking on orders for venues like weddings, birthday parties, etc.

It’s a great way to turn something you probably potentially enjoy into a little extra cash in your pocket.
